Suhr S3 in Bengal Burst at Humbucker Music
So it has been quite some time since we have received a Suhr Pro Series S3… and man was is worth the wait! All of us were amazed at how great this Suhr S3 in Bengal Burst looked and played as soon as we pulled it out of the case!
Here at Humbucker Music we have been amazed at how consistent the Suhrs are from guitar to guitar. It would be hard to pick one that plays better than any other since each one of them is seemingly perfect right out of the box! With the Pro Series Suhr’s approach was to build a guitar with that same amazing playability and craftsmanship at a price point that allows a lot more players to enjoy it… and we definitely think they have hit the mark.
The S or “Standard” model guitar is the original Pro Series guitar and is also the body shape that Suhr is best known for. The body is slightly smaller and elongated with a sharper radius on the edge compared to the the C or “Classic” model. The Pro Series S model is loaded with JST ML Single-coil pickups in the neck and middle position and a JST SSH+ Humbucker pickup in the bridge. This combination offers a wide array of versatility for any style of music you might find yourself playing.
